The Boarding School is not a relaxing weekend. The day starts early in the morning and ends late at night.
The day is made up of various activities, some which are undertaken in groups and others individually. The timetable is designed is such a way as to provide a variety of activities and experiences so that participants truly get an intense experience of boarding school life. There may be variations in the programmes between one boarding school and another due to seasonal factors, special wishes or other planning issues.
Meals and breaks also serve an important purpose. They are times to get your breath back, to reflect, or if necessary, just to fully relax. However, even at these times teachers and pupils must stay fully in role and no attempt should be made to try to coax another out of role.
